The Untied Way of Parker County uses your donation right here in Parker County and nowhere else.  All of the dollars collected by your United Way are invested in our community.  The United Way resources are directed toward your neighbors and people you know.  The dollars improve the health and provide support for the truly needy.  Resources are placed into programs that strengthen families, promote self-sufficiency, and build character.  The United Way invests in youth programs and provides assistance to our seniors.  Trained United Way Staff and experienced community volunteers monitor these investments to insure the money is being utilized in the most efficient and effective manner possible.

The question everyone has: How much should I give?

Of course, these are decisions that you must make personally but all gifts are tax deductible.  Give what you can.  What may seem like a small amount to you does make a difference.  When lots of smaller donations are combined the total is quite substantial.

  • The cost of one fast food meal a week can greatly enhance a youth program.
  • $25 a week can feed a number of homeless families.

Don't work in Parker County?  You can still give where you live.

Many employers have payroll deduction plans to assist employees in participating in United Way efforts.   Ask your HR department to assist you in designating the United Way of Parker County to receive your contribution.  If your employer does not have a payroll deduction plan please contact us for assistance in helping set up one.

Remember, the Power of One is Enormous.  That One is You!
