The United Way is Working for You.
The United Way of Parker County
is working hard to make our community a better place to live for all of
our citizens. To elevate our neighbors in need is to elevate us all.
That's what your United way does everyday of the year.
All contributions received by the United Way of Parker County are
allocated to the residents of Parker County. Your United Way partners
with health and social service agencies to invest these precious dollars
in the most efficient way possible. Your United Way touches more people
than any other organization in our community.
Who Runs Your
United Way?
Your United Way is managed by a board of directors whose term of service
is three years. All of the directors are Parker County Citizens and
policy is crafted to reflect our community standards and our Texas
heritage. The directors come from the business community, local government, retired people and homemakers. They are folks just like you. That's
why we want you to help in this effort. Get involved by making a
contribution, volunteering, or both!
Your United Way distributes funds that provide basic human services for
families, shelters for the homeless, services for the elderly, nursery
schools, scouting programs, youth recreation, and an information and
referral line.
